Location
The resort is situated in Sutera harbour in the city of Koto Kinabalu, nestled on the west coast of Malaysian Borneo. The idyllic location is also conveniently close to the train station and airport, both are just a short drive south.
Exterior
The grand entrance to the resort is a majestic longhouse style lobby, an architectural tribute to the Rungus natives of Sabah. With fine timber furnishings and traditional handicraft artefacts the property offers a combination of rustic charm and modern convenience, with plush and beautifully manicured gardens all around.
Leisure Facilities
The impressive grounds boast several landscaped swimming pools, tennis courts, a marina, driving range and a 27 hole championship golf course. There are numerous other recreational facilities, including badminton, squash, 10-pin bowling, a billiards room, movie theatre and frequent live music performances. The Mandara Spa and Body Senses offer guests the opportunity to relax and unwind to therapeutic Balinese massages and beauty treatments, with a choice of indoor rooms or open-air pavilions. Deluxe Sea View rooms are a lavish 44 sqm in size and offer magnificent views of the South China Sea and surrounding tropical islands from the private balcony. Amenities include satellite/cable TV with in-house movies, broadband internet connection via LAN and an executive writing desk with stationery. The Bathrooms feature a walk-in shower and separate couple-sized bathtub, bathrobes, slippers and premium Sutera toiletries.

Al Fresco is situated by the side of a beautifully landscaped sea-view pool and offers outdoor dining with spectacular scenery and a relaxing atmosphere. Ferdinand's is a world class Italian restaurant, whereas Five Sails offers a daily selection of international and Malaysian favourites for breakfast and dinner buffets.
