Overview
Anker Hostel is a modern hostel located in central Oslo. In the reception you can buy sweets, telephone cards, toiletries, the Oslo card and stamps. For a deposit (NOK 100) kitchen equipment can be hired.There are 50 rooms with 250 beds. Facilities include laundry services, bar, kitchens, parking (extra charge), and 24-hour reception. Free WI-FI internet access is available in all rooms and in the public areas.
Location
Anker Hostel is located in the city centre, between the main street Karl Johan and the trendy area Grünerløkka. You can take a stroll along the River Akerselva which passes the apartments. There is a taxi rank and a bus and tram stop right outside the hotel giving easy access to all parts of Oslo.
Rooms
All rooms have a bathroom with WC and shower. Guests only have to share with those in the same room. Guests should either bring bed linen with them, or rent it from reception. Beds have pillows and duvets. Sleeping bags are not allowed for sanitary reasons. All rooms are centrally heated.
